وعن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنهما
قال: جيء بأبي إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قد مثل به فوضع بين يديه، فذهبت أكشف عن وجهه فنهاني قوم فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: «ما زالت الملائكة تظله بأجنحتها»
The dead body of my father, who was mutilated by the enemy, was brought and placed before the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). I got up to uncover his face but the people stopped me, and the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “The angels continue to cover him with their wings.”.
