The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) performed Salatal-Khauf leading these (Companions) in one Rakah and those (other Companions) in one Rakah, and they did not make up the second Rakah.
وَعَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ
«أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى صَلَاةَ اَلْخَوْفِ بِهَؤُلَاءِ رَكْعَةً، وَبِهَؤُلَاءِ رَكْعَةً، وَلَمْ يَقْضُوا»

صحيح. رواه أحمد (5/385 و 399)، وأبو داود (1246)، والنسائي (3/167-168)، ولا أظن أن عزوه لابن حبان إلا من باب الوهم والخطأ. والله أعلم
