وَعَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ اَلْحَكَمِ رضى الله عنه
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ -«إِنَّ هَذِهِ اَلصَّلَاةَ لَا يَصْلُحُ فِيهَا شَيْءٌ مِنْ كَلَامِ اَلنَّاسِ، إِنَّمَا هُوَ اَلتَّسْبِيحُ، وَالتَّكْبِيرُ، وَقِرَاءَةُ اَلْقُرْآنِ»
The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “Talking is not befitting during the Salat (prayer), for it (prayer) consists only of glorifying Allah, declaring His Greatness and the recitation of the Qur’an.”.
