The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “There is no Salat (i.e. voluntary prayer) after the break of dawn except Sajdatain (Sunnah of Fajr).”.
وَعَنْ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَ اَلْفَجْرِ إِلَّا سَجْدَتَيْنِ»

صحيح. رواه أبو داود (1278)، والترمذي (419)، وأحمد (5811)، وعند أبي داود في أوله زيادة: «ليبلغ شاهدكم غائبكم». وقال الترمذي: «ومعنى هذا الحديث إنما يقول: لا صلاة بعد طلوع الفجر إلا ركعتي الفجر». قلت: وما قاله الترمذي هو لفظ رواية عبد الرازق. وأما ابن ماجه (235) فاقتصر على قوله: «ليبلغ شاهدكم غائبكم»، وبذلك يتبين أو عزو الحديث له غير دقيق من الحافظ رحمه الله
