Abdur Rahman ibn Auf (RAA) narrated, ‘The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) took the Jizyah from the Magians of Hajar.’ Related by Al-Bukhari.
عَنْ عَبْدِ اَلرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ رضى الله عنه
«أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (أَخَذَهَا) يَعْنِي: اَلْجِزْيَةُ مِنْ مَجُوسِ هَجَرَ»

صحيح. رواه البخاري (3157). 2 روى مالك في «الموطأ» (1 / 278 / 42) عن جعفر بن محمد بن علي، عن أبيه؛ أن عمر بن الخطاب ذكر المجوس فقال: ما أدري كيف أصنع في أمرهم. فقال عبد الرحمن بن عوف: أشهد لسمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: «سنوا بهم سنة أهل الكتاب». قلت: وهذا كما قال الحافظ هنا وفي «الفتح» (6 / 261): «هذا منقطع مع ثقة رجاله»
