The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “None of you should whip his wife like the whipping of a slave.”.
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ زَمْعَةَ رضى الله عنه
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ -«لَا يَجْلِدُ أَحَدُكُمْ اِمْرَأَتَهُ جَلْدَ اَلْعَبْدِ»

صحيح. رواه البخاري (5204)، وتمامه: «ثم يجامعها في آخر اليوم». قلت: وهو في البخاري ومسلم أيضا بلفظ آخر
