The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “The Arabs are equal to one another and the Mawali (Non-Arabs, and originally former slaves) are equal to one another, except a weaver or a cupper.”.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ -«اَلْعَرَبُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَكْفَاءُ بَعْضٍ، وَالْمَوَالِي بَعْضُهُمْ أَكْفَاءُ بَعْضٍ، إِلَّا حَائِكٌ أَوْ حَجَّامٌ»

موضوع. وقد سأل ابن أبي حاتم أباه عنه فقال (1 /412/ 1236): «هذا كذب. لا أصل له». وقال في موضع آخر (1 /423 - 424 / 1275): «هذا حديث منكر». وأيضا قال بوضعه ابن حبان في «المجروحين» (2 /124)، وابن عبد البر في «التمهيد«إذ قال: «حديث منكر موضوع»
