حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلِمَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ
رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْضِي الْحَاجَةَ فَيَأْكُلُ مَعَنَا اللَّحْمَ وَيَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَحْجِزُهُ أَوْ يَحْجُبُهُ إِلَّا الْجَنَابَةُ
The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) would relieve himself, then eat meat with us and recite Qur’an, and nothing stopped him or prevented him (from reciting Qur’an) except janabah.
