I heard Humran ibn Aban tell Abu Burdah in the mosque of Basrah, when I was standing next to him, that he heard Uthman ibn Affan (رضي الله عنه) narrating from the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) that he said: ‘Whoever does wudoo’ properly as enjoined by Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, the five prayers will be an expiation for whatever comes in between them..
