I came to Madinah and met Aslam, the freed slave of Umar ibn al-Khattab. I said. Tell me (a report) from Umar He said: I cannot, I am afraid that I will add or subtract something. If we said to Umar, Tell us something from the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), he would say: I am afraid that I may add or subtract a letter. The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whoever tells a lie about me will be in Hell.”.
