حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ
قَالَ و حَدَّثَنَاه خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْبَزَّارُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَى عَيْنَيْهِ كُلِّفَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَقْدًا بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْ شَعِيرَةٍ
“Whoever tells a lie about his eyes (i.e., claims to have seen something in his dream that he did not see) will be commanded to tie the two ends of a grain of barley on the Day of Resurrection.”
