The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Spread the greeting to people and you will be safe. The saw is evil.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَامٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَزَارِيُّ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا قِنَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ النَّهْمِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ

قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَفْشُوا السَّلَامَ تَسْلَمُوا، وَالأشَرَةُ شَرٌّ»

The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Spread the greeting to people and you will be safe. The saw is evil.”
