وعن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما
قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يبيت الليالي المتتابعه طاويا، وأهله لايجدون عشاء، وكان أكثر خبزهم خبز الشعير
The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) went to bed hungry for several successive nights, nor did his family have a thing for supper for many consecutive nights; and their bread was mostly of barley.
