وعن ابن مسعود، رضي الله عنه
أن رجلاً أصاب من امرأة قبلة، فأتى النبي، صلى الله عليه وسلم، فأخبره، فأنزل الله تعالى: «وأقم الصلاة طرفي النهار وزلفاً من الليل إن الحسنات يذهبن السيئات» (هود:114) فقال الرجل: ألي هذا يا رسول الله؟ قال: «لجميع أمتى كلهم»
A man kissed a woman and he came to the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and made a mention of that to him. It was (on this occasion) that this Ayah was revealed: “And perform As-Salat (Iqamat-As-Salat), at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night.”
