أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مِنْ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ أَنْ يَتَبَاهَى النَّاسُ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ»

The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “One of the portents of the Hour will be that people will show off in building Masjids.”

সুওয়ায়দ ইবনু নাসর (রহঃ) ... আনাস (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত যে, রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন- মসজিদের ব্যাপারে লোকের পরম্পরে গর্ব করা কিয়ামতের আলামতের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।

انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: قیامت کی نشانیوں میں سے یہ ہے کہ لوگ مساجد بنانے میں فخر و مباہات کریں گے ۔

Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Suwaid bin Nashr] dia berkata; telah memberitakan kepada kami ['Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak] dari [Hammad bin Salamah] dari [Ayyub] dari [Abu Qibalah] dari [Anas] bahwa Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Diantara tanda- tanda hari Kiamat adalah manusia bermegah-megahan dalam membangun masjid

Enes (radıyallahü anh)‘den rivâyete göre, Rasûlüllah (sallallahü aleyhi ve sellem) şöyle buyurdu: mescid yaptırma konusunda birbirleriyle yarış etmeleri ve böbürlenip övünmeleri kıyamet alametlerindendir.) (Dârimi, Salat: 123; İbn Mâce, Mesacid:)

What it teaches

• The act of boasting about mosques is prohibited, and it is an unacceptable act, because it was not done for the sake of Allah.
• The prohibition of decorating mosques with colors, dyes, patterns, and inscriptions, because such things distract worshippers when they look at them.
• As-Sindi said: This Hadīth is among those whose truth is confirmed by reality, and it is one of the manifest miracles of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him).
