وَحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَعْرَجُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ

يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهِ أُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَفِيهِ أُخْرِجَ مِنْهَا»

The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created, on it he was made to enter Paradise, on it he. was expelled from it.

কুতাইবাহ ইবনু সাঈদ, উসমান ইবনু আবূ শাইবাহ, ইসহাক ইবনু ইবরাহীম (রহঃ) ..... জাবির (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বলতে শুনেছিঃ শয়তান সালাতের আযানের শব্দ শুনে পালাতে পালাতে রাওহা পর্যন্ত চলে যায়। সুলাইমান (আমাশ) বলেন, আমি তাকে (আবূ সুফইয়ানকে) রাওহা সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞেস করলাম। তিনি বললেন, এ স্থানটি মদীনা থেকে ছত্রিশ মাইল দূরে অবস্থিত।

۔ جریر نے اعمش سے ، انہوں نے ابو سفیان ( طلحہ بن نافع ) سے اور انہوں نے حضرت جابر ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت کی ، کہا : میں نے نبیﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا : بلاشبہ شیطان جب نماز کی پکار ( اذان ) سنتا ہے تو ( بھاگ کر ) چلا جاتا ہے یہاں تک کہ روحاء کے مقام پر پہنچ جاتا ہے ۔

‘ ‘ سلیمان ( اعمش ) نے کہا : میں نے ان ( اپنے استاد ابو سفیان طلحہ بن نافع ) سے روحاء کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا : یہ مدینہ سے چھتیس میل ( کے فاصلے ) پر ہے ۔

Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Qutaibah bin Sa'id] dan [Utsman bin Abi Syaibah] serta [Ishaq bin Ibrahim] berkata Ishaq telah mengabarkan kepada kami, sedangkan dua orang lainnya berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Jarir] dari [al-A'masy] dari [Abu Sufyan] dari [Jabir] dia berkata, "Saya mendengar Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda, ' setan apabila mendengar adzan untuk shalat, maka dia pergi hingga tempat ar-Rauha'.'

Sulaiman berkata, maka aku bertanya kepada beliau tentang ar-Rauha', maka beliau bersabda, 'Ia adalah tempat yang berjarak tiga puluh enam mil dari Madinah.' Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami tentangnya [Abu Bakar bin Abi Syaibah] dan [Abu Kuraib] keduanya berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Mu'awiyah] dari [al-A'masy] dengan sanad ini

Bize Kuteybetü'bnü Saîd ile Osman b. Ebî Şeybe ve lshâk b. İbrahim rivayet ettiler. İshâk bize haber verdi, tâbirini kullandı. Ötekiler: Bize Cerîr, Âmeş'den, o da Ebu Süfyan'dan, o da Câbir'den naklen rivayet etti, dediler. Cabir: Nebi (Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem)'i «Şüphesiz ki; şeytân namaza nida edildiğini işittiği vakitte Ravhâ' denilen yere varılıncaya kadar gider» buyururken işittim, demiş.

What it means

What it teaches

• The superiority of Friday over other days of the week.
• Encouraging the act of increasing good deeds on Friday and being prepared to receive the mercy of Allah Almighty and ward off His wrath.
• It is said that such characteristics that are mentioned in the Hadīth concerning Friday: are not meant to refer to the merit of Friday because expelling Adam from Paradise and the advent of the Hour are not counted as merits. Whereas it is also said: Rather, all of them are merits, and expelling Adam is the cause that led to the existence of his progeny from the messengers, prophets, and the righteous. Moreover, the advent of the Hour is the cause that will hasten the recompense of the righteous and their attainment of the dignities that Allah has prepared for them.
• Other characteristics concerning Friday were mentioned, besides the ones mentioned in this version, some of which are: On it, Allah accepted Adam's repentance; on it, his soul was taken, and there is an hour in it that no believer comes upon while praying and asking Allah for something except that He will give it to him.
• The best day of the year is ‘Arafah, and it is said: the Day of Nahr (10th of Dhul-Hijjah); the best day of the week is Friday; and the best night is the Nigth of Decree.
