حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، (هُوَ ابْنُ كَيْسَانَ) عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ فِي رَكْعَتَىِ الْفَجْرِ «قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ» وَ «قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ»

The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) recited in the two (supererogatory) rakahs of the dawn (prayer): “ Say: O unbelievers,” (Qur’an, cix.) and Say: Allah is one (cxii).

ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) ..... আয়িশাহ (রাযিঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এক ফারাক (সাড়ে সাত কেজি) পরিমাণ পাত্রের পানি দিয়ে অপবিত্রতার গোসল করতেন*।

امام مالک نے ابن شہاب ( زہری ) سے ، انہوں نے عروہ سے اور انہوں نےحضرت عائشہ ؓ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ ایک ہی برتن سے ، جو ایک فرق ( تین صاع یا ساڑھےتیرہ لٹر ) کا تھا ، غسل جنابت فرمایا کرتے تھے

Bize Yahya b. Yahya da tahdis edip dedi ki: Malik'e, İbn Şihab'dan naklen okudum. O Urve b. ez-Zubeyr'den, o Aişe'den rivayet ettiğine göre Resulullah (Sallallahu aleyhi ve Sellem) cünüplükten dolayı ferak denilen bir kaptan guslederdi. Diğer tahric: Ebu Davud, 238ı.»

What it teaches

• It is recommended to recite these two Surahs after Surat al-Fātihah in the Sunnah of Fajr.
• Each of these two Surahs is called "Surat al-Ikhlās" (sincerity), given that Surat al-Kāfirūn includes a declaration of disassociation from everything the polytheists worship apart from Allah, besides the indication that they are not also slaves of Allah because their Shirk (polytheism) renders their deeds worthless, and the fact that Allah Almighty is the only One worthy of worship. Moreover, Surat al-Ikhlās declares the oneness of Allah, emphasizes sincerity to Him, and clarifies His attributes.
