وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبا بكر وَعمر رَضِي الله عَنْهُمَا كَانُوا يَفْتَتِحُونَ الصَّلَاةَ بِ «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالمين»)

The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), Abu Bakr and Umar used to begin the prayer with, “Praise be to God the Lord of the universe.”
