Jabir told that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) had himself cupped above the thigh for a contusion from which he suffered.
وَعَنْ جَابِرٌ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ عَلَى وَرِكِهِ مِنْ وَثْءٍ كَانَ بِهِ
