Aishah told that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) never left in his house anything containing figures of a cross without destroying it.
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَتْرُكُ فِي بَيْتِهِ شَيْئًا فِيهِ تَصَالِيبُ إِلَّا نَقَضَهُ
