مرّة أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى عَلَيْهِ خَلُوقًا فَقَالَ: «أَلَكَ امْرَأَةٌ؟» قَالَ: لَا قَالَ: «فَاغْسِلْهُ ثُمَّ اغْسِلْهُ ثُمَّ اغْسِلْهُ ثُمَّ لَا تعد»
Yala ibn Murra told that when the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) saw some khaluq (A liquid, yellow perfume mainly composed of saffron) on him he asked whether he had a wife, and when he replied that he had not he said, “Wash it, then wash it, then wash it, and do not use it again.”
