وَعَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّهِ
قَالَتْ: دَخَلَتْ حَفْصَةُ بِنْتُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ وَعَلَيْهَا خِمَارٌ رَقِيقٌ فَشَقَّتْهُ عَائِشَةُ وَكَسَتْهَا خمارا كثيفا
‘Alqama ibn Abu ‘Alqama quoted his mother as saying that when Hafsah daughter of Abd ar-Rahman visited Aishah wearing a thin veil, Aishah tore it and put a thick veil on her.’’
