وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ

قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَعْلِنُوا هَذَا النِّكَاحَ وَاجْعَلُوهُ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ وَاضْرِبُوا عَلَيْهِ بِالدُّفُوفِ»

Aishah reported God’s Messenger as saying, “Make this marriage publicly known, solemnise it in the mosques, and play tambourines in honour of it.”
