وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْمِكْيَالُ مِكْيَالُ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَالْمِيزَانُ مِيزَانُ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ»
The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said:, “The measure of capacity is that used by the people of Medina and the measure of weight is that used by the people of Mecca.” Abu Dawud and Nasai transmitted it.
