عَن طلحةَ بنِ عبيدِ اللَّهِ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا رَأَى الْهِلَالَ قَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْأَمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ»
Talha ibn ‘Ubaidallah told that when the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) saw the new moon he said, ‘O God, make the new moon rise on us with security, faith, safety and Islam. My Lord and your Lord is God.’’
