Ibn Abbas reported God’s messenger as saying, “Dying abroad is treated as martyrdom.”
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَوْتُ غُرْبَةٍ شَهَادَةٌ»
Ibn Abbas reported God’s messenger as saying, “Dying abroad is treated as martyrdom.”
