وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
قَالَ: إِنَّ عَلِيًّا خَرَجَ مِنْ عِنْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي وَجَعِهِ الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَ فِيهِ فَقَالَ النَّاسُ: يَا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ كَيْفَ أَصْبَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: أَصْبَحَ بِحَمْدِ الله بارئا
When Ali came out after visiting the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) during the painful illness of which he died, the people asked, “How is God’s messenger this morning, Abul Hasan?” He replied, “Praise be to God, he is getting better.”
