The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) used to sacrifice and slaughter at the place of prayer. Bukhari transmitted it. (Cf. Chap. 48a)
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَذْبَحُ وَيَنْحَرُ بِالْمُصَلَّى
