Anas reported God’s Messenger as saying, “One should pray as long as he is lively, but when he slackens he should stop.”
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لِيُصَلِّ أَحَدُكُمْ نَشَاطَهُ وَإِذَا فَتَرَ فَلْيَقْعُدْ)»
Anas reported God’s Messenger as saying, “One should pray as long as he is lively, but when he slackens he should stop.”
