Ibn Abbas reported God’s Messenger as saying, “Let the best among you call the adhan for you, and the Qur’an readers act as your imams.”
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لِيُؤَذِّنْ لَكُمْ خِيَارُكُمْ وليؤمكم قراؤكم»
