Jabir reported God’s Messenger as saying, “Do not postpone prayer because of food or any other reason.” transmitted it in Sharh as-sunna.
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تُؤَخِّرُوا الصَّلَاةَ لِطَعَامٍ وَلَا لغيره»
