“(The months in which) We fasted twenty-nine days at the time of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), were more than (the months in which) we fasted thirty days.”

Ebu Hureyre (r.a.)'den; şöyle demiştir: Resulullah (Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem) hayatta iken Ramazan ayı orucunu yirmidokuz gün olarak tutmamız, otuz gün olarak tutmamızdan fazla idi. Not : Zevaid'de şöyle denilmiştir: Bunun senedi, Müslim'in şartı üzerine sahihtir. Ancak adı Said bin İyaz Ebu Mes'ud olan el-Cüreyri ömrünün sonunda rivayetleri karıştırmıştır. Bu hadisi Ebu Davud ve Tirmizi İbn-i Mes'ud (r.a.)'den rivayet etmişlerdir. Mahir: İhtilat zamanı bilindikten sonra sorun yoktur
