The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was asked, ‘What type of earning is best?’ He replied, “A man’s work with his hand and every transaction which is free from cheating or deception.”.
عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ رضى الله عنه
أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ: أَيُّ اَلْكَسْبِ أَطْيَبُ? قَالَ: «عَمَلُ اَلرَّجُلِ بِيَدِهِ، وَكُلُّ بَيْعٍ مَبْرُورٍ»

صحيح. رواه البزار (2 / 83 / كشف الأستار)، الحاكم (2 / 10). قلت: وقد اختلف في إسناده، وأيضا اختلف في وصله وإرساله، فرجح بعضهم الإرسال. قلت: ولكن للحديث شواهد منها ما رواه الطبراني في «الأوسط» (1944 / مجمع) من حديث ابن عمر بسند لا بأس به
