The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) took Zakah from the mines of Qabaliyah.
وَعَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ اَلْحَارِثِ رضى الله عنه
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخَذَ مِنَ اَلْمَعَادِنِ اَلْقَبَلِيَّةِ اَلصَّدَقَةَ»
