Narrated (rad): The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “When the skin is tanned it becomes purified.”. Al-Arbaa have the words: “Any skin that is tanned.”
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ الْلَّهُ عَنْهُمَا
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الْلَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ -«إِذَا دُبِغَ الْإِهَابُ فَقَدْ طَهُرَ»

صحيح. رواه مسلم (366).2 رواه النسائي (773)، والترمذي (1728)، وابن ماجه (3609) عن ابن عباس أيضا، وهو صحيح كسابقه. «تنبيه«: وهم الحافظ رحمه الله في قوله: «وعند الأربعة«وذلك لأن أبا داود لم يروا الحديث بهذا اللفظ، وإنما لفظه كلفظ مسلم»
