عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رضى الله عنه
«أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى عَلَى عَبْدِ اَلرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ أَثَرَ صُفْرَةٍ، قَالَ: «مَا هَذَا ? «, قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ! إِنِّي تَزَوَّجْتُ اِمْرَأَةً عَلَى وَزْنِ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ. فَقَالَ: «فَبَارَكَ اَللَّهُ لَكَ، أَوْلِمْ وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ»
The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) saw the trace of yellow color on Abdur-Rahman ibn Auf (radiyallahu anhu) and asked, “What is this?” He replied, “O Messenger of Allah, I have married a woman for a Nawat weight (equal to one weight of a date-stone) of gold.” He said. “May Allah bless you! Hold a wedding feast, even if with a sheep (only).”.
