The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “What is given in life-tenancy belongs to the one to whom it is given.”.
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ رضى الله عنه
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ -«اَلْعُمْرَى لِمَنْ وُهِبَتْ لَهُ»

صحيح. رواه البخاري (2625)، ومسلم (1625) (25)، والسياق لمسلم، وأما البخاري فعن جابر قال: قضى النبي (صلى الله عليه وسلم) بالعمرى أنها لمن وهبت له
