حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رضى الله عنهما

قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لِكُلِّ غَادِرٍ لِوَاءٌ يُنْصَبُ لِغَدْرَتِهِ»

The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “Every betrayer will have a flag which will be fixed on the Day of Resurrection, and the flag’s prominence will be made in order to show the betrayal he committed.”

ইবনু ‘উমার (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-কে বলতে শুনেছি যে, (কিয়ামতের দিন) ওয়াদা ভঙ্গের নিদর্শন হিসেবে প্রত্যেক ওয়াদা ভঙ্গকারীর জন্য একটি পতাকা স্থাপন করা হবে। (৬১৭৭, ৬১৭৮, ৬৯৬৬, ৭১১১) (মুসলিম ৩২/৪ হাঃ ১৭৩৫, আহমাদ ৪৮৩৯)

ہم سے سلیمان بن حرب نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے حماد نے بیان کیا، ان سے ایوب نے، ان سے نافع نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”ہر دغا باز کے لیے قیامت کے دن ایک جھنڈا ہو گا جو اس کی دغا بازی کی علامت کے طور پر ( اس کے پیچھے ) گاڑ دیا جائے گا۔“

Telah bercerita kepada kami [Sulaiman bin Harb] telah bercerita kepada kami [Hammad bin Zaid] dari [Ayyub] dari [Nafi'] dari [Ibnu 'Umar radliallahu 'anhuma] berkata, aku mendengar Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Bagi setiap pengkhiyanat akan diberikan bendera pada hari qiyamat yang ditegakkan sesuai kadar pengkhiyanatannya

What it teaches

• The prohibition of treachery, and that it is one of the major sins because of this severe warning associated with it.
• The betrayal that incurs a severe warning includes anyone who entrusts you with life, honor, secret, or wealth, and you betray him, breaking his trust in your reliability.
• Al-Qurtubi said: This is an address from him to the Arabs who used to practice, as they used to raise a white banner for loyalty and a black banner for betrayal, to blame and condemn the traitor. The Hadīth implies that something similar will occur for the betrayer, so he will be known for his trait on the Day of Judgment and condemned by the people of the Gathering.
• Ibn Hajar said: This indicates that people will be called on the Day of Judgment by their fathers, as mentioned in his statement: "This is the betrayal of so-and-so, the son of so-and-so.".
