حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ: يَا خَيْبَةَ الدَّهْرِ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الدَّهْرُ

The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “None of you should say, ‘May time (ad-Dahr) be disappointed. Allah is time (ad-Dahr).’”
