Warrad, the scribe of Al-Mughirah ibn Shubah, said, “Muawiyah wrote to al-Mughira, saying, ‘Write down for me what you heard the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say.’” Warrad said, “He dictated to me and I wrote out, ‘I heard him forbid asking too many questions, wasting money and chit-chat.’”
