حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ الْعَمِّيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ
قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ، إِذَا طَبَخْتَ مَرَقَةً فَأَكْثِرْ مَاءَ الْمَرَقَةِ، وَتَعَاهَدْ جِيرَانَكَ، أَوِ اقْسِمْ فِي جِيرَانِكَ»
The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Abu Dharr! If you cook some stew, make a lot of it and fulfil your duty to your neighbours (or divide it among your neighbours).”
