Surah Al-Qiyaama 75

سُورَةُ القِيَامَةِ“The Resurrection”40 Ayat

  1. 75:1I swear by the Day of Resurrection
  2. 75:2And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection].
  3. 75:3Does man think that We will not assemble his bones?
  4. 75:4Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips.
  5. 75:5But man desires to continue in sin.
  6. 75:6He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?"
  7. 75:7So when vision is dazzled
  8. 75:8And the moon darkens
  9. 75:9And the sun and the moon are joined,
  10. 75:10Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?"
  11. 75:11No! There is no refuge.
  12. 75:12To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence.
  13. 75:13Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back.
  14. 75:14Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness,
  15. 75:15Even if he presents his excuses.
  16. 75:16Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an.
  17. 75:17Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation.
  18. 75:18So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation.
  19. 75:19Then upon Us is its clarification [to you].
  20. 75:20No! But you love the immediate
  21. 75:21And leave the Hereafter.
  22. 75:22[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant,
  23. 75:23Looking at their Lord.
  24. 75:24And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted,
  25. 75:25Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking.
  26. 75:26No! When the soul has reached the collar bones
  27. 75:27And it is said, "Who will cure [him]?"
  28. 75:28And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation
  29. 75:29And the leg is wound about the leg,
  30. 75:30To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession.
  31. 75:31And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed.
  32. 75:32But [instead], he denied and turned away.
  33. 75:33And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride].
  34. 75:34Woe to you, and woe!
  35. 75:35Then woe to you, and woe!
  36. 75:36Does man think that he will be left neglected?
  37. 75:37Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted?
  38. 75:38Then he was a clinging clot, and [Allah] created [his form] and proportioned [him]
  39. 75:39And made of him two mates, the male and the female.
  40. 75:40Is not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead?
