Stop eating by Imsak, ten minutes before Sehri ends, to be safe. Ramadan and the marked days follow the Hijri date above; where the moon is sighted a day later, they move with it.
These times are worked out from the position of the sun for Ḩisyā’ (34.4120, 36.7587, time zone Asia/Damascus), with the Egyptian General Authority of Survey method, the way most mosques in Syria do. Your mosque may differ by a minute or two, as many round their times or add a few minutes for safety. Imsak is ten minutes before Fajr. The Hijri date follows the Umm al-Qura calendar; the month begins where the moon is sighted, so it can differ by a day.
Questions about Ḩisyā’
What time is Fajr in Ḩisyā’ today?
Fajr is at 5:18 am and sunrise at 6:50 am, so the time for Fajr ends then.
When is Maghrib and Iftar in Ḩisyā’ today?
Maghrib, and Iftar for those fasting, is at 5:43 pm. Sehri ends at Fajr, 5:18 am.
What time is Isha in Ḩisyā’?
Isha is at 7:05 pm today, and its time lasts until Fajr.
Which calculation method is used?
The Egyptian General Authority of Survey method, 19.5° and 17.5°, the way most mosques in Syria work it out, with the standard Asr.
